N I T R O 12 Summer League Team The summer season is in full swing. The tournament is scheduled for August 8th thru the 10th. No schedule has been announced but count on the first game being Friday night. The Saturday schedule will begin at 3:00 p.m., all games being played at PSA. Spring Creek Parkway Coaches Profiles: Steve Boeding: Steve played intramurals at the University of Nebraska and on a U.S. Army volleyball team in South Korea. This will be his sixth year as a USAV club coach, his second year at Nitro Volleyball Club. He has coached volleyball for the past thirteen years in the Dallas Parochial League at the middle school level; coaching boys, girls and co-ed teams at two different schools. Since the Garland Volleyball Association started in 2001, Steve had one or more teams in all of the Spring, Summer and Fall seasons until all of his daughters moved up to high school. Steve is a member of the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA), is completing his CAP II certification while currently CAP Level 1 certified, and is IMPACT certified with USA Volleyball. He has also coached soccer for fifteen years, holding a State D coaching license, and has coached many other sports. Steve also referees high school volleyball and soccer, is a member of the Texas Association of Sports Officials. He is CPR trained through the American Red Cross and is Sport First Aid certified through the American Sports Education Program.
