The Cardinals are made up of several volleyball teams that have participated in the Garland Volleyball Association, since its inception in the Fall of 2001. In the Fall of 2006, a new Cardinals team will be competing in the 8th grade league. There are still several teams in the league that bear the Cardinal name, most of them being started by the current Cardinals coach.
